Warren R. Paboojian

Warren R. Paboojian was born in Fresno, California on May 18, 1957.  He earned a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fresno in 1980 and a juris doctorate from San Joaquin College Law.  He was admitted to the bar in 1987.

Mr. Paboojian was admitted to the California State Bar and the United States District Court, Eastern District Bar in 1987.  Mr. Paboojian is a former Deputy District Attorney in Fresno County.  He served as a Board of Director for the Fresno County Bar Association from 2004 to 2006.  He is currently an active member of the Fresno County Bar Association and the State Bar of California.  He is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers, the California Association of Trial Lawyers, the Central California Trial Lawyers Association, the California Employment Lawyers Association, and the Consumer Attorneys of California.  He was selected by his peers to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and in 2008 Mr. Paboojian was the San Joaquin Valley Chapter, President of Abota.  Mr. Paboojian is also the recipient of the Central California Trial Lawyers Association President’s Award in recognition for his outstanding advocacy in protecting the rights of consumers in civil litigation in 2004.   In 2004, he was awarded again the Central California Trail Lawyers President’s Award for an outstanding plaintiff’s verdict.  Mr. Paboojian was named a California Super Lawyer by “Northern California Super Lawyer for 2006, 2007 and 2008”.  Mr. Paboojian was named one of the top 100 lawyers of California by Super Lawyer.  In 2008, he was awarded the Trial Lawyer of the Year Award by the Consumer Attorneys of California, the largest association of plaintiff attorneys in California. 

Mr. Paboojian has a published opinion with the Fifth District Court of Appeals involving the case of Kevin Helmer v. Bingham Toyota Isuzu (2005) 129 Cal.App.4th 1121; 29 Cal.Rptr.3d 136.

He practices in the areas of plaintiff’s personal injury, which encompasses catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, UM/UIM, insurance bad faith, products liability, and wrongful termination.  Mr. Paboojian has settled a number of million dollar cases and has obtained several million dollar verdicts on behalf of his clients. Mr. Paboojian obtained the largest employment verdict (19.1 million) in the country against a public entity in 2007.   Mr. Paboojian has litigated over 60 civil and criminal trials, to verdict, in Fresno County and throughout the State of California.  Mr. Paboojian has 5 jury verdicts in excess of one million dollars since 2001.
